The Eventbrite column is our calculation from Eventbrite's published formula: standard US pricing, fees passed on to the buyer, which its pages give as the default. Processing is 2.9% of the total order, applied here to the ticket plus the service fee. Eventbrite's published US fee is a percentage with no stated maximum. The Tenseats platform fee stops at $4.99. The cap is the Tenseats platform fee. Card processing is added at checkout. Organizers also pay one listing fee of $8.99 per ticketed event (pricing).

At some prices (under about $14) the Tenseats guest total is the higher of the two, by less than a dollar. The table shows it as it is.

Is Tenseats an Eventbrite alternative for pop-up dinners?

Yes, for food and drink nights: pop-up dinners, supper clubs and dinner parties. Tenseats lists only those.

What does each one charge?

Tenseats guests pay a platform fee of $1.99 to $4.99 a ticket. The cap is the Tenseats platform fee. Card processing is added at checkout. Organizers pay $8.99 per ticketed event. See the pricing page. Eventbrite's standard US pricing is 3.7% plus $1.79 per sold paid ticket, plus 2.9% processing on the total order.12

Can I use both?

Yes. Tenseats lets you list elsewhere. Check Eventbrite's terms too.
