When I lived in Shanghai, there was a dinner party experience I kept trying to get into. It was always sold out, and I left before the next seat opened up. That is why I built Tenseats. So many chefs, mixologists and people with amazing homes could be making fantastic experiences like that for other people, and you should be able to find them.

How much does it cost?

Joining is free, and so is posting a night. Guests pay the ticket price plus one service fee, capped at $4.99. Organizers keep every dollar; on pay as you go, $8.99 lands when the first ticket sells. Insider is $99 a year and waives both. The cap is the Tenseats service fee. Card processing is added at checkout.

What if my event is cancelled?

If the organizer cancels, you get a full automatic refund to your original payment method: ticket, service fee and Stripe's fee.

How refunds work

Do I need a business entity?

No. You connect a Stripe account to sell tickets, and you can open one as an individual. Free RSVP nights skip Stripe. Local food safety, licensing and insurance rules are yours to handle.
